CHASING LIGHT / FAMILY JOURNAL

WILD RIVER STATE PARK · ST. CROIX RIVER · SUMMER 2026

Three generations.
One river.
A first for both of us.

Some adventures aren’t about how far you travel.

A memory worth keeping

TOM’S JOURNAL

Grandpa and grandson,
learning together.

At Wild River State Park, Tommy brought along his brand-new canoe—so lightweight I could hardly believe it. We had a beautiful river in front of us and three generations together to enjoy it.

And somewhere along the banks of the St. Croix, Teddy and I shared a first neither of us had experienced before.

My first time in a canoe.
His first time in a canoe.

Grandpa and grandson, learning together.

That’s the kind of moment Chasing Light Adventure was made for. A chance to try something new, spend time with the people we love, and bring home a story that belongs to us.

FROM THE FAMILY CAMERA

A little time
on the river.

Come along in the canoe and back onto the sandy shore. Our short family video keeps a piece of that day.

THE STORY CONTINUES…

Same river.
Another chapter.

We’re planning to head back to Wild River with Tommy and Teddy in October—to canoe, share another campfire, and spend more time together.

After that trip, we’ll add the next chapter here. This first memory gets to stay.

A few more memories worth bringing home.
